connecting young people with the natural environment

To advance the education of children and young people living in Cornwall in the subject of flora and fauna and in environmental protection, conservation and improvement in particular but not exclusively by the provision of annual awards for educational programmes and activities.

why trees?

Trees keep our atmosphere sweet and prevent erosion.

Trees provide homes for birds, insects and animals.

Trees are always beautiful.

Trees express change through their branches, leaves, buds, flowers, fruits and nuts.

Trees provide building materials and medicines.

Trees are symbols of hope and evolution.

Trees generate positive ions increasing health and happiness.

Trees are key to earthly harmony and also to our own survival.
